Q:
We reported on the MDS that a resident received IV medications in the hospital within the look-back period. Why aren’t the Nursing and NTA components reflecting this?
A:
IV medications only impact the NTA and Nursing component if they are received “while a resident” at the SNF as coded at O0100H2.
