Projected Learning Outcomes/Course Objectives:
Distinguish between currently used service-based evaluation codes versus upcoming evaluation codes in 2017 based upon severity and intensity.
Identify the elements of a physical therapy and occupational therapy evaluation in order to properly establish coding severity.
Identify the components of severity and complexity related to evaluation coding.
Distinguish between high, moderate, and low complexity characteristics of physical and occupational therapy evaluation coding guidelines.
Identify re-evaluation coding guidelines for physical and occupational therapy
