This session will provide an overview of the Quality of Care regulations at §483.25, with an emphasis on the review the most commonly cited Quality of Care requirements. Strategies to avoid citations related to Quality of Care will be emphasized through discussion of: Actual citation examples, Strategies for successfully managing the survey process & understanding the critical element pathways used to guide surveyor investigations, & implementing survey preparedness activities to prevent Quality of Care citations.
