Description
This session reviews strategies for promoting compliance and the compliance and ethics program throughout the organization. Goals for staff compliance training and key content for training will be discussed including the facility code of conduct, non-retaliation for reporting violations, and role-specific training considerations. Training activities beyond formal inservices will be reviewed including coaching based on audit findings and remediation of identified problems. A sample training program outline and self-assessment checklist tool will be reviewed. New and seasoned compliance staff will benefit from this session as a guide to establishing a compliance training program for the first time, or as part of the periodic review process to determine the effectiveness of an existing program.
