This 4-week webinar series in October will provide in-depth review of the regulatory requirements and survey tips/strategies for Activities team members as well as inspirations and concepts for building effective and worthwhile activities programs. This fourth session will focus on determining the appropriate format for activity programming that is designed to meet the individual needs of each resident, whether it be large group, small group, individual, independent, self-directed, or 1-1 sessions.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe the components of a Population Assessment/Survey.
- List categories of activities that are appropriate for elders in long term care.
- List activity interventions effectively utilized for challenging behavior.
