This session will provide an overview of the Food and Nutrition Services regulations at §483.60, with an emphasis on the review the most commonly cited requirements related to Food and Nutrition Services. Strategies to avoid citations related to Food and Nutrition Services will be emphasized through discussion of: Actual citation examples, Strategies for successfully managing the survey process & understanding the critical element pathways used to guide surveyor investigations, & implementing survey preparedness activities to prevent Food and Nutrition Services citations.
