This 1-hour session will share insights on trends identified in over 2000 PDPM coding and documentation audits along with CMS findings noted in the proposed rule with a focus on industry billing trends, lessons learned, and best practice applications for SNF Medicare Program operations. Common missed opportunities and specific strategies for providers to drive program improvement in these areas will be discussed with case studies. Insights into internal auditing & process improvements to reduce missed opportunities and improve medical review success will be emphasized.
