Description
This session of the PDPM Master Class Series will review essential competencies for PDPM success including, but not limited to, ICD-10 coding, Section GG assessment, and MDS coding with special focus on nursing clinical competencies to identify, assess, and manage Nursing and NTA conditions and services. Â Suggested processes for evaluating facility level of competency in certain areas will be reviewed while creating effective staff development processes for initial and ongoing education, skills development, and cross-training to avoid gaps in competency related to employee turn-over will be emphasized.
